Investing.com-- Nvidia and TCV invested in artificial intelligence video startup Higgsfield Inc under an extension to an August funding round, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
The investment, which is part of an extension to a $400 million funding round in August, is aimed at further helping fund more AI infrastructure, Bloomberg reported. The value of the investment was not immediately clear.
Higgsfield was valued at $5.4 billion in the round.
The San Francisco-based firm, which was founded by a former Snap Inc executive, has a bulk of its engineering talent in Kazakhstan, the Bloomberg report said.
The investment comes as part of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's visit to the country, Bloomberg said.
