OneXPlayer has announced the Super X Pro, a 2-in-1 compact PC which is the first to house the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 chip. OneXPlayer Doesn't Stop At Just AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 + 192 GB Memory For Its Super X PRO, Also Adds Liquid-Cooling & Up To 120W TDP Support The Super X series from OneXPlayer is known to be some of the fastest and slimmest 2-in-1 PC designs on the market. The existing design features a 314x208x12.5mm chassis, and it looks like the company has managed to outdo itself with the latest Super X Pro variant, which takes things to the MAX. For its updated Super X Pro portable PC, OneXPlayer has used AMD's latest Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 SoC, which offers a step-up from the AI MAX+ 395, and couples it with up to 192 GB of memory, all of which is unified, supporting up to 300 B AI parameter models. The memory on the Super X Pro is tuned to operate at 8533 MT/s speeds (LPDDR5X0, achieving a max bandwidth of 273 GB/s, and 160 GB of that memory can be directly allocated to the GPU as VRAM. The OneXPlayer Super X Pro represents more than a conventional product refresh. It is designed to explore a new balance between high-performance computing, full-featured local AI capabilities and true mobile portability. With the combination of the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, up to 192GB of unified memory, Radeon 8065S graphics, a 120W liquid-cooled performance mode, and a highly versatile 2-in-1 design, the Super X Pro is aimed at professional creators, AI developers, power users and technology enthusiasts looking for desktop-class capabilities in a portable form factor. For users working with demanding creative applications, exploring large local AI models, or simply seeking uncompromised performance on the move, the OneXPlayer Super X Pro is positioned to push the boundaries of what a high-performance 2-in-1 device can deliver. Besides that, the updated Radeon 8065S iGPU also delivers a nice punch with faster clock speeds, offering the highest performance of an iGPU within an SoC, while the device itself supports a full M.2 2280 SSD (PCIe Gen4) along with a Mini SSD expansion solution which has been co-developed with BIWIN. The display on the Super X Pro is a 2.8K AMOLED design with a maximum resolution of 2880 x 1800 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It supports HDR and VRR. The chassis is once again premium and uses CNC-machined metal construction. The device also comes with a kickstand that offers angles of up to 173 degrees. I/O on the device includes: - 2×USB4 - USB-A - HDMI2.1 - MINISSDslot - microSD card slot - 3.5mmaudio jack To cool this beast, OneXPlayer leverages both standard air cooling and also comes with the first liquid-cooling solution designed for a 2-in-1 laptop. The external liquid cooling system enables up to 120W of performance while the dual intake fans ensure maximum airflow within the compact chassis. The Frost Bay liquid cooling solution can be attached directly to the PC for performance, but needs to be purchased separately. There's an 85.58Wh battery within the PC, and it comes with a 240W GaN fast charger, which offers juice to the machine at a rapid speed. Currently, there's no word on the pricing, but OneXPlayer is saying that the device will be available soon. We expect it to end up around $6500-$7500 based on current Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 system prices.
