2Crsi Edge Deploys Intel Core Ultra 5 225H Inside Vision Guard Security Camera With Local AI Capabilities
Hardware has evolved so much that it now gets its way into devices you wouldn't have imagined a few years ago. One such product is 2Crsi Edge's new surveillance camera that brings consumer-grade hardware for advanced security measures. As spotted by @FanlessTech, the vendor 2Crsi Edge has made the Vision Guard VG-15MV-66 surveillance camera that brings an Intel Arrow Lake processor.
The spec sheet listed on the official website mentions the Intel Core 5 225H, a budget-oriented processor with 14 cores through 4 Performance + 8 Efficient core configuration and up to a 4.9 GHz boost speed. I think it's already overkill for a surveillance camera, but that's what makes it stand out when it comes to regular surveillance devices. The Core 5 225H makes more sense for multi-camera AI surveillance system.
And this one isn't a a simple computer for recording camera footage, but it's an edge-computing system designed to process video and run AI models locally.
