Nvidia and SpaceX Explore AI Data Centers In Space
Huang revealed that the companies' engineering teams are working together on a new server design and computing architecture intended to operate both in space and on Earth.
"One particular new market that we're going to go explore together is putting data centers out in space," Huang said.
Musk has previously said SpaceX aims to launch Nvidia-powered AI computers into orbit in 2027. The project involves adapting Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 computing system for space-based operations.
